ROLE SUMMARY
Drive sales and service the demand optimally in the relevant category for the concept by ensuring the availability of the right product and brand mix at the right time

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Planning and Performance
Identify, quantify and action on the available market opportunity
Understand the trends prevailing in the international market and customize the same to suit the needs of the domestic market
Align buy with the plan and drive the sales, margin and inventory for the brand/brands as per the budget
Ensure range presentation is submitted to the concerned stakeholders at defined period
Initiate buying as per OTB and ensure timely delivery and availability of right stocks at the store
Ensure on time orders, consistent tracking to ensure deliveries are on time and aligned to the financial norms
Track sales performance for brands and take required action
Review gap analysis post launch and make appropriate corrections
Regularly collect and analyze product feedback during store visits and sell through reports
Understand competition in terms of product offering, business performance, promotions and offers
Monitor the ageing of stock with reference to overall stock holding as per defined norms
Analyze and make recommendations for space planning to ensure the SPF and MPF for the department is in line with concept performance
Work with marketing team for the marketing calendar to drive sales on a continuous basis

Product Presentation
Ensure timely implementation of the planograms
Define the guidelines for right presentation of the product in the stores
Work with the Marketing team for photo campaigns to ensure the next season trends and style are well captured and presented

Relationship management
Manage relationships with licensing brand, retail team and distribution channel
Manage internal relationships for smoother implementation of business process
