Job Description

Role Summary
Ensure the right product mix at the right price to tap the opportunity in the category for the concept to service the demand optimally

Key Job Responsibilities
Product Planning and Performance
Identify and quantify the available market opportunity
Analyze the trends prevailing in the international market and forecast for the season
Plan the product range and pricing strategy based on desired positioning to optimally tap the opportunity
Align buy with planning & finalize the sales, margin and inventory for the Concept
Initiate buying as per OTB and ensure timely delivery and availability of stocks at the store
Ensure season PO is released as per intake plan
Work on buy plan for season order
Fortnightly review of brands to track sales performance and manage Sell thru tracking. Initiate necessary action to optimize the sell thru within the season
Perform gap analysis post launch and make appropriate corrections
Regularly collect and analyze product feedback during store visits
Track competition in terms of business performance, promotions and offers

Product Presentation
Ensure timely implementation of planograms and define the guidelines for right presentation of the product in the stores
Work with the Marketing team for photo campaigns to ensure the next season trends and style are well captured and presented
Brands and vendor management
Manage relationships with brand partners / vendors
